About this compound
Sermorelin is the unmodified 1-29 fragment of human growth-hormone-releasing hormone, amidated at the C-terminus. It is the shortest fragment of GHRH that retains full receptor activity, which is why it became the reference sequence for the class.
Studied in
- GH/IGF-1 axis
- Pituitary secretion
- Endocrine signalling

Endocrine
The growth-hormone axis, and four ways to poke it
GHRH analogues and ghrelin-receptor secretagogues act on different receptors with different consequences for pulsatility. The distinction is the whole subject.
